Soundvenue Live: Faderhuset

With unprecedented access to a closed community, the 'Father House' reveals the inner mechanisms of the charismatic Christian sect — a world of exorcism, tongue-in-cheek and militant Christianity. The film explores the sect's techniques for recruiting and retaining members and examines the physiological and psychological landscape that gives a guru power over the minds and lives of his followers. In the cast, both former members of the sect appear (as themselves), while in the staged layers of the film they are played by Trine Dyrholm, David Dencik, Emma Sehested Høeg and Özlem Saglanmak among others.
