Soyka/ Grott Orchestra in tribute to the master

Ladies and gentlemen, we would like to inform you that the concert of the Soyka/Grott Orchestra in tribute to the Master, which was scheduled to take place on October 9, at the Theater of the Rybnik Region, for reasons beyond the control of the Organizer, is postponed to a new date: January 24, 2027.

All purchased tickets remain valid and will be honored on the new concert date.

Those who will not be able to attend the event on January 24, 2027 can return tickets at their place of purchase until 9.10.2026.

On January 24, 2027, the Teatr Ziemi Rybnicka will be filled with music by one of the most important artists of the Polish scene. “Soyka/Grott Orchestra in tribute to the master” is a unique concert dedicated to the work of Stanisław Soyka — composer, vocalist and pianist whose songs have moved generations of listeners for more than four decades.

The project is the culmination of a five-year collaboration between Stanisław Soyka and the Grott Orchestra — a family, multi-generational ensemble founded by Kama Grott-Tomaszek and Michał Grott. The common musical path resulted in the creation of unique interpretations of the Master's works, presented on the most important stages and festivals in Poland.

During the concert we will hear new arrangements of timeless compositions, such as “Tolerance (For a Nice God)”, “The Miracle of Forgetfulness” or “There are Things in This World”, as well as lesser-known pearls from Stanisław Soyka's rich oeuvre. All the songs will sound in the author's elaborations of Michał Grotta, preserving the sensitivity, respect for the word and closeness to the audience characteristic of Soyka.

Exceptional soloists representing different musical worlds were invited to participate in the project: • Paulina Przybysz • Skubas • Stasiek Kukulski

Their distinct artistic personalities show how universal and timeless Stanisław Soyka's work remains.

It will be an evening full of memories, emotions and music that, despite the passing of the years, has not lost its strength.

Paulina Przybysz — brings fire and deep expression rooted in soul, R&B and hip-hop music to the project. Her soulful feeling and incredible sense of rhythm give Soyka's compositions a modern, pulsating brilliance, showing their timeless character.

Skubas — an artist with an extremely masculine, raw and at the same time fragile sensitivity of folk-rock and singer-songwriting. His low, characteristic voice and sparing interpretation allow us to touch the melancholic and deeply intimate layer of the Master's lyrics.

Stasiek Kukulski — a representative of the younger generation, who boldly brings fresh energy, stage charisma and modern thinking about melody to the project. His presence is proof that Soyka's music still inspires and resonates in the hearts of the youngest creators. This mosaic of styles proves that in Stanisław Soyka's repertoire — from sung poetry to classical jazz to pop anthems — every artist can find his own truth.
