SP4Kids: Soul Ears

How does water sound, can glass sing, and can sound shine? The ears of the Soul will show that a concert of contemporary music can start with fun.

Each thumbnail will bring a different surprise. Objects will become instruments, and instruments will become objects. The three artists will play on water, glass and crystals, piano, electronic Seaboard, and things we don't usually look for on a concert stage. We will hear water, glass, string and electronic sounds. Sound, light and displayed images will complement each other, creating a kind of instrumental theater.

Modern music does not need an instruction manual here. We will be guided by curiosity, fun and experimentation close to children. At the end of the concert, the artists will invite the audience to perform the final piece together. We listen to what is playing in the soul of us and the children!

Availability:

The concert is intended for children from 3 years of age and adults close to them. It will last about 35 minutes and will be held without interruption. During the event there will be projections, changing light and sounds of water, glass, stringed and electronic instruments.

Before the concert, children will be given items that make sounds, including sticks, paper and bells. You can also bring your own small object that knocks, rustles or buzzes. At the end of the concert, the artists will invite the audience to play the final piece together. Participation in the joint performance is not mandatory.

The theater hall is located on level zero and leads to it without a threshold. In the auditorium, you can designate places for people moving in wheelchairs. In the building there is an accessible toilet equipped with a changing table for children. An induction loop was installed in the auditorium. You can enter the theater with an assistance dog or a guide dog.

There is no separate room of silence in the KTO Theater. Those in need of rest can leave the room and take advantage of the quiet foyer. The theater does not have its own parking; the nearest place for people with disabilities is about 50 meters from the entrance.
