The work of welding people is demanding and difficult. It is they who connect the sheets and pipes from which the hulls of ships are made. In class, we will build a welding machine.
Welders were not only men, but also women! The most famous welder of the Gdańsk Shipyard was Anna Walentynowicz.
The topics of Sunday family workshops are provided by the shipyard carpentry, where things big and small were made. The 2026 edition is a DIY workshop. If your child dreams of creating things that really work and likes the smell of real wood - then we invite you to a unique adventure, during which we learn the secrets of the work of a shipbuilder!
In a world full of plastic, we focus on nature and authenticity. We use screwdrivers, hammers and screwdrivers. Together we will build one object.
All work done by children can be taken home. Classes are conducted by the Master Chief.
