Especially for you — family workshops

What makes a gift special? Size, price or beautiful packaging? Or maybe the time and heart put into its preparation? In December, when we are especially keen on gifts, we will look at items in which traces of manual labor can be seen.

We will be inspired by folk art and the extraordinary phenomenon that was Cepelia. We will explore the world of traditional patterns, colors, materials and techniques and consider how handicrafts help to preserve the memory of places, people and traditions. We will also find that the value of a handmade item is much higher than its price. Because maybe the most beautiful gift is one that says simply: “I did/did it especially for you”?
