“The Lie” is a combination of Witkiewicz's delightful literature (based on “The Mother”) and emotional acting. A story about relationships, love and a collapsing world. During the festival in Słupsk he was awarded the Grand Prix for “the depiction of toxic relationships and the metaphor of the umbilical cord neatly used in the performance”.

Witkacy — painter, writer, philosopher. Tadeusz Boy-Żeleński was right when he said that he must be taken as he is, with all his childhood and perversions. He called his cat “Schizophrenia” (diminutive “Schyzia”), his wife described him as an erotomaniac and more than an erotomaniac, but above all he was an above-average artist. A two-time grantee of President Gorzów Wlkp in the “Theater” category, nominated in the Gazeta Lubuska plebiscite for the title of “Personality of the Year in Culture in 2024”, he is a guest star in TV series such as “Szpital St. Anna”, “Dzielnica drachu” or “Cops”.

The event is organized by the Council of the Krzyki-Partynice Estate. Partners of the event are: Teatr Mostów association and the Tadeusz Różewicz Municipal Public Library in Wrocław.
