There are stories that remain on the sidelines of this great, official history for years. “SAVED” restore the voice of one of them.
Warsaw, 1944 year. Irena K. ends up in Zieleniak during the pacification of Ochota. Her experience becomes the starting point for a story about women who experienced war violence and a memory that for decades found no place for them.
The show was created on the basis of authentic accounts, memories and personal notes of witnesses of history. However, it is not a reconstruction of events or another history lesson.
It's a story about memory. About who has the right to tell the story. And about experiences that for years could not or did not want to be named.
On stage, Agnieszka Przepiórska creates a poignant monodrama directed by Mai Kleczewska. The text was written by Piotr Rowicki, and Krzysztof Garbaczewski is responsible for the visual layer.
“OCALONE” returns to the events of more than 80 years ago, but raises questions that do not belong exclusively to the past. On November 18, the show will be seen for the first time by the Poznań audience. Reserve your spot and see “The Saved” live.
A show for people over 16 years of age. There are scenes of violence, including sexual violence, and vulgar language in the play.
