Sleeping Beauty

This is a classic plot of the Brothers Grimm fairy tale, in which the role of difficult emotions in the life of the heroine — the Queen of the Rose — was emphasized; above all sadness and loneliness. Parents want to create her perfect world without worries. The queen is surrounded by care, but there is no room for difficult emotions in her. However, he matures to rebel against a situation where everyone pretends to be great. The kingdom gets into trouble when the King orders all the spindles to be burned, and the subjects cannot sew new clothes for themselves. That's why the whole kingdom is... patched. The hundred-year royal dream is the result of the accumulation of unrecognized and unexpressed sadness. However, sadness does not dominate in the performance, we encounter a full palette of emotions in it, and quite a few funny situations will appear on the stage.

The play can be a great introduction to talking with children about difficult emotions and how to regulate them. It teaches you to talk to a person who is experiencing sadness. For parents and educators, it can be an excuse to talk with children about mental crisis, about loneliness and childhood depression, and about its prevention.
