Sleeping Beauty

A classic fairy tale in a musical version

It is one of those stories that everyone knows and that moves regardless of age. “Sleeping Beauty” — the story of a beautiful princess who, on the day of her birth, is cursed by an evil fairy. The curse cast condemns the Queen to an eternal sleep, from which only true love can awaken her... Thanks to the adaptation of Hanna Januszewska and the music of Jerzy Wasowski, the fairy tale acquires a new dimension — as a musical, but also humorous stage realization.

The production, directed by Piotr Kurzawa, combines masterful animation of dolls with a light and witty narration. Each doll comes to life in the hands of actors, drawing viewers into a world full of fantasy, colorful characters and magical adventures. Minimalist but extremely striking scenography creates the perfect backdrop for the events taking place on stage.

It is a spectacle that will appeal to both the little ones and those who fondly remember the classic childhood fairy tale.

The patronage of the performance was taken over by the Wasowski Foundation.
