SING TO ME BECAUSE I WANT

This performance is a meeting with the extraordinary tradition of Roma songs. The inspiration was Teresa Mirga — an artist, singer and storyteller who teaches that music must be shared to survive. A common song becomes a support and gives a sense of community.

The creators of the show went to Czarna Góra to learn the stories, myths and melodies of the Carpathian Gypsies. From this experience, a concert-performance was created — a story about the role of song, which helps to survive fear, save memory and find one's place.

It is an evening in which music becomes a bridge between the past and the present.
