Meet the Buddha - subtitles

MEETING THE BUDDHA is more than a documentary — it is a cinematic bridge that connects the timeless wisdom of the Himalayas with the modern world. Following in the footsteps of the 16th Karmapa and the Lama of Ole Nydahl, we learn the story of friendship and courage and the vision that transcended all limitations and transformed the lives of countless people.

Faced with political catastrophe in Tibet and cultural shifts in the West, MEET THE BUDDHA shows a historically embedded yet deeply personal story of how timeless wisdom found its way into modern life. Composed of interviews, animation and never-before-seen footage, this documentary is a tribute to the deep bond between teacher and student that sustains the living message of the Karma Kagyu lineage.

Awarded at international festivals, the film is an invitation to experience a profound spiritual message on the big screen.
