The Lublin region is famous not only for its monuments, which are visible at first glance. The Lublin region is also the history of the Polish lands of the late Middle Ages, the first Piast, the Iron and Bronze Ages. We can go back in time to the Neolithic and the first traces of human presence in the areas between the Oder, the Vistula and the Bug.
We cordially invite you to the “Meetings with Archaeology
the Lublin region.”
The main point of the event will be a screening of films and archaeological monuments from the Lublin region and a story about the discoveries made in this area, the most recent and those of previous years.
We will host Dr. Rafał Niedźwiedek from the Institute of Archaeology of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, who will talk about archaeology in areas close to our heart.
