How do archaeologists work today, and how much of their work is already done outside the excavations themselves? The lecture will be devoted to both classical field research and modern methods: from laser technologies to archaeogenetics and other specialized laboratory analyzes. With concrete examples, we will show how from individual traces and finds knowledge about people and the world of hundreds or even thousands of years ago is formed.
