Can an ordinary trip to Florence turn into a detective mission full of riddles and ciphers? How to encourage children to learn about art, history and architecture through great fun?
We invite all young explorers to a unique author's meeting with Agata Marcinkowska-Wajner, author of the exciting adventure and travel book “Jadzia i Antyk. The Secret of Michelangelo.” The event will be paired with creative workshops that will prove that art and history do not have to live only in dusty textbooks and museums!
In the program of the event:
— Presentation of the book and the background of its creation,
— Artistic and educational workshop “Secrets of the Renaissance” — Participants will take part in interactive tasks. Like the protagonists of the book, they will solve the riddle and discover the treasure, thanks to the clues hidden in the works of art. Together they will create a map of Florence to follow in the footsteps of the eponymous siblings Jadzi and Antek and try their hand as Renaissance painters.
— Autographs and commemorative photos: At the end there will be an opportunity to get a personal dedication in the book from the author herself.
The event is dedicated to children aged 6—10 years (both for those who love riddles and those who just want to start their adventure with literature and art).
