Barbara Wysoczańska is a historian by education and passion. She graduated in history studies at the University of Zielona Góra. She comes from Nova Sola and currently lives in Zielona Góra.
She made her debut on the publishing market in 2021 with the novel The Nazi Bride, which quickly won the recognition of readers. Since then, she has published ten bestselling historical and moral novels, including, among others, The Nazi Bride, The Power of Women, The World Again, Actress, The Price of Freedom, Lena, The Collaborator and The Burden of Guilt.
Barbara Wysoczańska's work is distinguished by a skillful combination of reliably recreated historical realities with moving stories of love, courage, sacrifice and the struggle for her own dreams. A special place in her novels is occupied by strong, independent women, whose fates are often intertwined with the most important events of the 20th century.
Books and history remain an inexhaustible source of inspiration for the author. In his novels, he tries not only to bring readers closer to the events of the past, but also to show timeless values and human emotions that remain relevant regardless of the era.
