Author's meeting with Bartosz Szczygielski

Bartosz Szczygielski at the 3rd edition of the festival Bydd Kryminał! Meeting around the book entitled: “Instynkt” (ed. Muza) will be conducted by Dagmara Tyczyńska.

“INSTINCT” “Don't ask who killed. Ask why.

A dead man is found in the pond. Someone dealt him a dozen blows with a knife, and burned a mysterious inscription on his skin. The investigation led by Commissioner Viktor Kroll quickly ceases to be an ordinary murder case. The real nightmare begins only when the police arrive at the house of the murdered.

Soundproof basement. Chains. The crew. And evidence that there were women who were victims of brutal torture. Kroll begins to understand that he is conducting not one, but two investigations. And the question: “who killed?” gives way to the much more disturbing: “who did he kill?”. The more Kroll discovers, the harder it is to pinpoint who really is the victim and who is the perpetrator. And where the line runs that must not be crossed - even in defense of someone we love. Sometimes instinct tells you to run away. Sometimes to fight. And sometimes kill.”
