What makes us feel at home somewhere? How do we maintain a connection to where we come from, and how do memories become literature?
We invite you to meet Lech Foremski — Białystok writer, columnist, author of radio programs and co-creator of radio reports, living in the United States since 1982.
His achievements include “Island in a Puddle”, “Time of the Gray Rainbow”, “Finding the Motherland” and “Passports to Paradise”. In “Finding the Motherland”, the author recalls his childhood in the Boyars of Białystok and the experiences of emigration, taking up the themes of memory, identity and the search for one's place in the world.
The meeting will be an opportunity to get to know the author and discover the history and experiences behind his work. We invite both readers of his books and people who are just looking to get to know them!
