IT WILL BE A CRIMINAL! III - Crime Festival is coming soon!

We invite you to the third edition of the crime festival “There will be a crime!” in Radom, which will take place on 19-22 November 2026. The event will be an opportunity to meet writers of crime and sensational literature, police profilers, investigative journalists and creators of popular true crime podcasts.

Mariusz Czybaj accepted our invitation for this year's edition! Meeting around the book “Simulant” (ed. World of Books”) will be hosted by Katarzyna Gaczyńska.

Simultaneous

“November 1956. In Poland, the post-Aline thaw continues. Detective Edward Abramowski arrives from London to Warsaw with a secret mission. He is supposed to receive valuable information, however the man he was on a date with is murdered during a chess simultana. The detective tries to find the murderer on his own, but the private investigation is complicated by the fact that in post-war Warsaw you have to move very carefully, especially if you do not know anyone here. In the process of solving the case, he is accompanied only - like Dr. Watson Sherlock Holmes - by the chess grandmaster Miguel Najdorf. Meanwhile, victims are arriving. How do they connect to murder in simultan time? Abramovsky is forced to face dangers — and an adversary who always seems to be one move ahead of him.
