Author's meeting with Mark Lorenc

We invite you to an author's meeting with Marek Lorenc, dedicated to his latest book entitled “In Murder”.

About the Author:

In high school, he trained in meat processing. Although he did not learn much, he worked in the profession for 3 years. At the same time, he decided to study mathematics in absentia, but after a year he abandoned this direction. He eventually graduated from the Academy of Physical Education and football and basketball coaching courses. He connected his professional life mainly with sports, becoming a teacher and coach. These directions were absolutely far from a hidden passion - writing articles, poems, stories and books, and yet at some point he devoted himself to writing. First as a journalist of “Tygodnika 7 Dni” and “Przegdu Sportowy”, then as an author of educational projects, finally as a creator of children's books (in total, almost 20 thousand copies sold!). Now he is making his debut as the author of the crime novel Murder. He writes under a pseudonym, which explains the need to reconcile business and professional duties with a passion for writing.

To the reader who reaches for the crime novel “Murder”, I wish that he will become every character in this book — victim, investigator, executioner, murderer... Then he will feel the same as I did when I created the characters and their moral dilemmas.

We invite you to an author's meeting with Marek Lorenc about the book “Murda” written under the pseudonym Marek Miśkiewicz on November 5 at 6 pm, Kawiarnia Literacka MDK Ratusz.

The meeting will be moderated by Anna Nowicka.

During the meeting it will be possible to buy a book in the amount of 30 PLN.
