Author's meeting with Marta Maj and the dog Precle

We invite you to a unique author's meeting with Marta Maj — author of children's books, who will be accompanied during the meeting by an unusual four-legged guest — the dog Pretzel.

It will be a meeting full of stories, literary inspiration and fun. Marta Maj will take the participants into the world of her books, talk about where she gets ideas and how stories are created that reach young readers.

There will also be a Pretzel, which will surely take care of the special atmosphere of the meeting. This is a great opportunity for children to get to know the author of the books up close, learn what it is like to work on a book, and also see that reading can be a fascinating adventure.

The meeting is aimed at children and all young readers who like books, animals and interesting stories.

Marta Maj works as a journalist every day. Her love for animals has always been with her — she grew up surrounded by dogs, cats and chickens, but it wasn't until the age of 28 that she became a dog sitter on her own. It was then that her adventure with behaviorism began. She is currently deepening her knowledge in this field through trainings, books and webinars. She works all the time with her dog Precle to deepen the human-canine relationship and this is also what she wants to teach the little ones through the fairy tales she creates.

The Adventures of Pretzel Dog books teach how dogs behave, what they expect from humans, and what makes them feel comfortable around us. On the other hand, they are companions of children in their personal journey through the exploration of the world. For many readers, Pretzel has become a friend, a companion, a good colleague who encourages bold decisions and openness to new adventures. We want our stories to reach every young reader, regardless of where they live. Therefore, books are available from Świnoujście to Rzeszów, from the east to the west of Poland. We believe that changing the awareness of animal needs will make the lives of quadrupeds better!
