AUTHOR'S MEETING WITH MONIKA SOBIEŃ - GÓRSKA

The Mazowieckie Centre for Contemporary Art Elektrownia in Radom invites you on Tuesday, October 20, at 5:15pm to a French thriller from 2026 entitled Guru.

Screening as part of the Discussion Film Club.

After the screening there will be a meeting with Monika Sobeń — Górska, writer, journalist and screenwriter.

Monika Sobień-Górska is a graduate of journalism and social communication at the University of Warsaw. She graduated in screenwriting at the Andrzej Wajda Master School of Film Directing.

For several years she worked as a newspaper journalist, specializing in reportage, but most of all she made herself known as the author of books (including “The Levandist Empire”, “Ukrainian Women. What do they think about the Poles they work for”, “How to abandon a billionaire... and survive”).

In April 2026, she published her book, “The Year I Seek Meaning and Solace. Between Faith, Therapy and Business”, which is an incarnate (participatory) reportage in which the author spent a year exploring the booming market of new spirituality, alternative therapies and esoterics from the inside, conducting analyses of how spirituality and hope were packaged into attractive marketing products.

After the meeting there will be an opportunity to buy a book and get an autograph.
