Author's meeting with Radosław Samlik

Radosław Samlik, born in 1978 in Marklowice Górne, a small village in Cieszyn Silesia, is an IT specialist from Wrocław. His love of fantasy and science fiction literature began as early as early childhood, inspiring him to write his first sf short story at the age of eight. Fortunately, it never saw the light of day, nor did it become as bloodthirsty as it suggested.

He published several stories in the genre of horror, fantasy and science fiction on the pages of “Nowa Fantastyka”, “Science-Fiction, Fantasy and Horror” and “Fahrenheit”, and in 2023 in the self-publishing model, the anthology “Army of the Blackbeard” and the high fantasy novel “The First Spell” awarded in the Pyrkon 2024 literary competition. The writing continues, resulting in the latest horror film “Followers of the Black God”.

The action of his novel takes place in Lower Silesia, in Wrocław, near Ślęża... If you like stories about Slavic deities and demons and a dark atmosphere, be sure to come to the library on Thursday evening October 8 at 236a Grabiszyńska Street at 18.00!
