On Saturday, November 7, at 11:00am, we invite you to the library branch of Pozytyka for a meeting with Grzegorz Kasdepke — one of the most popular Polish authors of books for children and young people. His characters have been conquering the hearts of young readers for years, and the stories he tells also entertain adults.
During the meeting, the author will talk about his latest book “Lufcik” — a story about Gdynia full of humor, twists and cosmic surprises. There will also be a special touch on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of “Kacperiada”, as well as references to other books - those already written and those that are just waiting for their turn. There will be anecdotes, funny stories and an opportunity to look behind the scenes at the work of one of the most beloved authors of children's literature.
Grzegorz Kasdepke is the author of nearly seventy books for children and young people. He created, among others, Detective Pozitička, whose adventures the ABC Foundation “All Poland reads to children” recognized as the best book of the past twenty years, as well as the heroes of the beloved series “Kuba i Buba” and “Kacperiada”. Among his popular titles are also “What Does It Mean...”, “The Great Book of Feelings” and “Myths for Children”. He is a laureate of numerous literary awards and a Bachelor of the Order of Smile.
The meeting takes place as part of the #czytELnia cycle implemented with the financial assistance of the Warmia and Mazury Regional Government.
