Poetic Meeting - Around Insubordination

It will be about Poland. About freedom. About memory. About what the Motherland is for us - when we look at it through the words of poets.

We will meet to read independence poems - those familiar and those that we may have yet to discover. But above all, we want it not to be an evening where only the “invited” read. We want you to read with us. Anyone who comes can join the meeting:

you can choose one of the poems prepared by us;

you can bring your favorite poem about Poland, freedom or independence;

you can propose the text that, in your opinion, should sound this evening;

and if you write yourself - bring your author's poem and share it with us.

You don't have to be an actor. You don't have to be a reciter. You don't have to have experience with the scene. All you have to do is have something you want to share with others. Because poetry really comes to life when someone says it and someone else listens.

So on November 12, let's meet around words. Words about Poland - the great, historical, but also our own, everyday and personal. Come on. Listen to me. Read it. Share your poem. May Poland sound in many voices this evening.

Everyone is welcome - regardless of age and experience.
