Meeting presenting the history of the king of tango - singer Tadeusz Miller

We invite you to a meeting presenting the history of the king of tango - singer Tadeusz Miller, who developed his post-war career in Szczecin. This character has only recently been recalled by a play in Villa Lentz and a new novel by Sylwia Trojanowska.

Tadeusz Miller - began his artistic career after the Second World War as a soloist of the Polish Radio in Szczecin. In September 1946 he established contact with the Poznan Gramophone Record Factory Mew Mieczysław Wejman and started recording records (released under the “Melodje” labels). He recorded about 60 songs. In style and tone of voice somewhat similar to Mieczysław Fogg. Most often he collaborated with the Charles Bovery Jazz Band.
