On Sunday, October 18, the Museum in Koszalin invites you to the Kata House (3 Grodzka Street) for an event from the series “At the very noon” entitled “Wanderings with Greta Grabowska through art, history and more. Greta Grabowska — the author of the graphic design “The Wanderer of Koszalin” — is a local artist, interior and landscape architect.
During the meeting we will hear about the background of the formation of the Wanderer, among others what was the key to choosing the places that were on it, or how the map itself was composed. You will also be able to purchase a guidebook issued in an attractive form of a map.
Greta Grabowska is also the heroine and narrator of two reports prepared as part of the Koszalin Memorial Archive, which operates under the auspices of the Museum in Koszalin. It is a kind of social archive, which consists of unique records of memories of people associated with the city presented in the form of film reports.
This time, the organizers invite you to the premiere of two sections dedicated to Wyspiański Street and one of the historic tenement houses located next to it. This tenement house was renovated thanks to the efforts of Greta Grabowska, who in a report tells the story of the building where she lives herself and its former tenants.
The meeting, which in addition to the heroine will be attended by the author of reports and coordinator of the Koszalin Memorial Archive series, Anna Błądek, will be led by the director of the Museum in Koszalin Joanna Chojecka.
October 18 (Sunday), 12:00/Kata Cottage, Grodzka Street 3/ free admission.
