How to better understand the needs of the child and support them in moments of tension, excitement or difficulty regulating emotions? What exactly is sensory integration and how can its assumptions help us in our daily contact with the child?

During the meeting with Magdalena Okrzasa, we will take a closer look at how the reception and processing of stimuli affects the functioning of the youngest. Participants will learn the basic assumptions of sensory integration and how to use them in everyday situations. We will also talk about how to create conditions that promote calm, a sense of security and better coping with emotions.

The meeting will be of a practical nature. Together we will learn simple calming techniques and ways to support emotional regulation that can be applied both at home and at work with the little ones. The classes are aimed at people who want to better understand the behavior of children, perceive their needs and consciously respond to them.

parents and guardians of children,

teachers and people working with children of nursery, preschool and early school age,

people interested in the subject of sensory integration and the development of young children.

Lecturer: Magdalena Okrzasa — psychologist, therapist and teacher of sensory integration. She has been working with children for almost 30 years, dealing with sensory integration and supporting child development. She is a long-time therapist working with, among others, children on the autism spectrum and with preschool children. He has also been conducting training and courses in the field of sensory integration for years. He teaches in postgraduate and vocational studies, sharing his knowledge and experience.
