Meeting with Marek Piekarczyk

We invite you to a meeting with Marek Piekarczyk, which will take place on October 8 at 18:00 in the Żabianka Library.

Marek Piekarczyk is a singer, author of lyrics and music. He participated in the recording and release of more than 25 full-length albums and many singles and audio-video cassettes in Poland and other countries

of the world. Together with the TSA band and solo, he has sung for more than 2700 concerts in Poland, USA, Canada, Great Britain, Belgium, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Russia, France, Finland, Lithuania and

Germany. In the years 1986-1999 he collaborated with the Musical Theater in Gdynia, where he played the title role in the rock opera “Jesus Christ Super Star”. He has performed in over 100 performances in Poland and

USA, Canada, Finland and Russia. Always with great success. In April 2004, TSA's first release, “Proceder”, was released. In 2007, the publishing house was published

“YUGOPOLIS”, on which two songs “Where is our Polish Love” and “Do you remember?” and “Unwieldy” were recorded by M. Piekarczyk to his own lyrics. On October 24, 2009, it was released

Marek Piekarczyk's solo album “Source”. The music video promoting the album was filmed in Siberia on the frozen Lake Baikal. Marek Piekarczyk participates in many projects

Charity: He recorded, among others, the song “Memory” on the album “Cudowy Świat” for the Professor Religion Foundation. In 2013, he began collaborating with the program TVP2 — “The Voice of

Poland” as one of the coaches — later, in 2019, he took part in “The Voice Senior”. Currently, he returned to “The Voice of Poland” (12th and 13th editions). In November 2014, he published his

autobiographical book entitled “Contestator's Confessions”, the circulation of which has been sold and is still very popular. In 2018, he ended his collaboration with the TSA team, which he returned to in

July 2021. Currently, M.P. is touring with his project “Marek Piekarczyk Acoustically”, and in a musical event, “Kazania Świętokrzyskie” together with Józef Skrzek,

Atymos Apostolis and the Orthodox Choir “Oktoich”. On April 16, 2016, at the Municipal Stadium in Poznań, a performance of the Rock-Opera: “Jesus Christ SuperStar” was held on the occasion

The 1050th anniversary of the Baptism of Poland with the participation of Marek Piekarczyk in the lead role for an audience of 34,000. For several years, every Sunday Marek hosted his radio show in RMFFM entitled:” Marek

Piekarczyk — Rebel of Choice”, currently: “Rock & Roll History of the World”, together with Marcin Jędrych. He also performs with other, new projects: “Klenczon — poemat rockowy”,

“10 Steps”, “Marek Piekarczyk Symphonically” “Violins and Voices”. “Acoustically — strung” and solo in the biggest concert events on stage and television. Marek

has established close artistic cooperation with the Groteska Theatre in Krakow, where he plays concerts and composes music for performances staged there. At the concerts “Marek Piekarczyk —
