ST. DIGUE

ALBUM RELEASE - SECRET LANGUAGE/SHE CAN'T AFFORD MASCARA/PHOENIX DOWN/Indie Rock, Indie/Alternative, Post-Punk

St. Digue expands its bleak and danceable darkwave universe with a third full-length album, 'Secret Language', due out on 16 October - we celebrate the release on Flea on 17 October with the company of She Can't Afford Mascara and Phoenix Down!

St. Digue is the solo alias of the Copenhagen-based artist, singer and producer Kasper Deichmann.

Since 2020, his unique blend of electronic darkwave and industrial rock has sent shockwaves through the Copenhagen underground scene. Armed with ethereal synthesizers, catchy guitars, pounding drum machines, harsh soundscapes, melancholic melodies and primal screams, he paints a vivid picture of the neurodivergent experience, haunted by trauma, alienation and self-destruction. Combined with his punky D.I.Y. approach, his black metal roots and his flair for experimentation, he has cemented himself as a boundary-breaking force and a force that has come to stay.

What started as a bedroom project has in just five years become a pillar of the Danish music scene with many merits in its luggage. It includes 3 EPs and 2 critically acclaimed full-length albums, an extensive selection of concerts across Europe and in Denmark — including a legendary performance at Copenhell 2024 and his 5th anniversary show at A Colossal Weekend 2025.

On October 16, St. Digue releases its third full-length album, 'Secret Language' - it's all about love, and we're ready to celebrate it at Flea on October 17 in the company of She Can't Afford Mascara and Phoenix Down!

SHE CAN'T AFFORD MASCARA

She Can't Afford Mascara is a pioneer of Islamic darkwave -- sacred distortion for the lost, where the dance floor turns into a dargah and every movement quivers with devotion and defiance.

After extensive touring throughout Europe, Mascara has established himself as one of the most prominent voices on the underground darkwave scene. Mascara currently performs at renowned festivals such as Fusion Festival and Grauzone, where the ritualistic performances are brought out to audiences across the continent.
