American jazz singer Stacey Kent is coming to Bremen Theater on March 29, 2027

American jazz singer Stacey Kent has garnered numerous awards and nominations -- including a Grammy -- selling over 2 million albums worldwide and collaborating with names such as Marcos Valle, Roberto Menescal and Danilo Caymmi.

Politiken has called her vocals “velvet for the ear canals,” and Kent's multilingual repertoire ranges from the Great American Songbook to French chanson and Brazilian music — often created in close collaboration with her husband and musical partner, saxophonist and composer Jim Tomlinson. Since 2006, they have also created original songs in collaboration with Nobel Prize winner Kazuo Ishiguro.

Her albums Songs From Other Places (2021) and Summer Me, Winter Me (2023) have received numerous awards and top placings, including 'Best Vocal Performance' at the Jazz Music Awards and number 1 on the French jazz lists.
