As part of this year's edition of the Festival of Culture without Barriers, we invite you to the Chamber of Deputies of the Wawel Royal Castle, where music and history meet in an unobvious way. In the center of the event will be program music performed on the piano with content related to the chivalry of different eras and the world of court ceremony and royal customs.

As part of this year's edition of the Festival of Culture without Barriers, we invite you to the Chamber of Deputies of the Wawel Royal Castle, where music and history meet in an unobvious way. In the center of the event will be program music performed on the piano with content related to the chivalry of different eras and the world of court ceremony and royal customs.

The stories of the Wawel military collections will become the starting point for the story, in which the narration of the curator will be intertwined with the author's accompaniment. Fragments of selected compositions will resonate with the story of historic objects, creating a new, fresh look at history. An unusual instrument will also appear in this musical tale, the sound of which can surprise...

Audience: adolescents from 16 years of age and adults
Admission: free, reservation of seats is valid — registrations are made through the form, which will be launched on October 1, on the Festival website

Curator at the Wawel Royal Castle, curator of the Military Collections

Justyna Skoczek
Pianist, tutor, author of texts and music. A graduate of the Academy of Music in Wrocław in the piano class of Prof. Włodzimierz Obidowicz (2003).
From 2003 to 2012 she worked as a tutor and pianist soloist at the Wrocław Opera.
At the Polish Theatre in Wrocław she realized the musical layer of Adam Mickiewicz's play “Dziady” directed by Michał Zadara (2016).
She collaborated with the National Theatre in Warsaw on “Revenge of the Bat” by Johann Strauss (2019) and “The Books of Jacob” (2022) directed by Michał Zadara.
He co-creates the Wrocław band Małe Instrumenty playing contemporary and experimental music and implementing music projects involving people with disabilities.
Since 2001 she has been a lecturer at the Vocal Faculty of the Academy of Music in Wrocław, where she defended her doctoral thesis (2015) and obtained her habilitation (2022). Since January 2021, she has been the music director of the H. Modrzejewska National Old Theatre in Krakow.
