The Original Dubadub Sound
From a sound system in Brittany to the biggest stages in Europe, Stand High Patrol have become one of the essential crews in the dub scene.
It started in 2000 when two friends with a love of roots reggae and early digital set up a sound system of their own. They went on to launch Stand High Records, home to their blend of dub, reggae and hip hop showcased on classics such as ‘Ruckus’ and ‘Brest Bay’.
On stage, they carry their hybrid dub to the dancefloor in true sound system style, with Pupajim on the mic, dubs rebuilt on the spot by Rootystep and MacGyver, and Merry’s trumpet now riding over the bass.
