“Stand-up sitting” — a performance by Anna Seniuk

The performance, called by Anna Seniuk, a sit-down stand-up, was created on the initiative of the actress and is a fully original stage statement, an analysis of her own artistic path and life experiences.

It's a personal and moving story about a career (which has been going on for 60 years!) and life. The performance is enriched by the poetic texts of the most outstanding Polish authors. Masterfully performed by Seniuk, these pieces take on a new, deeply human dimension. This is a meeting with a great actress who, with grace, self-irony and humor, talks about what is most important - about love, art, loneliness and faith. The performance is not only an artistic experience, but also an intimate conversation — smart, touching, and at the same time full of life and humor.

Anna Seniuk — film, theater and television actress. On a daily basis she is associated with the National Theatre in Warsaw. Professor at the Theatre Academy in Warsaw. She collaborated with Kazimierz Dejmek and Jerzy Jarocki. Honored, among others, with the title of Master of Polish Speech, the Prize of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, the Irena Solska Award for outstanding acting achievements. Awarded the Golden Cross of Merit, the Knight's Cross of the Order of Polish Revival, the Officer's Cross of the Order of the Polish Revival, the Commander's Cross of the Order of the Polish Revival and the Gold Medal of Merit to Culture “Gloria Artis”.
