Stanisław Słowiński, InfraArt Chamber Orchestra - Vivaldi Experience

After the jubilee concert in 2023, which met with great interest and recognition from the Katowice audience, and the phenomenal reception of the author's Symphony of the Four Sides of the World, Stanisław Słowiński returns to NOSPR with the InfraArt orchestra, wonderful soloists and a truly electrifying program.

Four Seasons — Antonio Vivaldi's iconic work will be performed by Stanisław Słowiński, the InfraArt orchestra and leading improvisers of the European music scene. The concert will take place as part of the tour promoting the album prepared on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the publication of the epochal cycle. The ensemble will visit, among others, the Vienna Konzerthaus, the Berlin Philharmonic, as well as a number of the most important Polish stages. The new interpretation of Vivaldi's work combines an in-depth analysis of the source material with the freedom and expression of the element of contemporary improvisation. Basso continuo in classical instrumentation diversified by keyboard viola and percussion instruments will be realized by leading Polish improvisers. The artistry and charisma of the soloists — expressed in improvised virtuoso cadences and interludes — bring a new color to the musical layer of the composition.

The four seasons are a phenomenon in the history of music. They have captured the hearts of performers and listeners around the world. Nothing indicates a decline in their popularity, and the universality of Antonio Vivaldi's music gives artists of subsequent generations the space for their own ways of interpretation that arouse lively and emotional reactions from the audience.
