Ancient Legends of the Constellations - screening with classic soundtrack

We invite all lovers of classics to a unique show at the Silesian Planetarium! “Ancient Legends of the Constellations” is a seance that was created in 1965. Its author is the then deputy director of our institution, Dr. Maria Pańków.

The main protagonists of this show are the stars - once projected by the Zeiss projector, which was able to show on our screen about 9000 stars. In this session, it will be replaced by a new system that presents more than... 100 million objects in the sky. The original soundtrack will take viewers to the vibe of years ago, to a time when a view of the stars and a few slides was all it took to tell the story.
