Staszek z Gór - highlander Christmas carol evening

Feel the Christmas warmth in a highlander version — full of energy, tradition and sounds that create a unique atmosphere from the first sounds. Staszek z Gór invites you to a concert in which well-known carols meet the vibrancy of Podhale, and classical melodies get a new, fresh setting.

Staszek Karpiel-Bułecka, known for his charisma and scenic freedom, invites the audience to the world of Christmas carols and pastorals rooted in the highlander tradition. The program will include the most beautiful Polish carols — such as “Przeli do Bethlehem”, “God is Born” or “Among the Night Silence” — as well as regional songs, such as “Na Kondracka Holi”, “Yesterday from the Evening”, “Well, Jesus under Giewontem was born” or “Thank you for the Christmas carol”.

A rich instrumentation will sound on the stage: violin, accordion, bagpipes, pipes, flutes, double bass, guitar, keyboards, drums and percussion. Thanks to this, the concert combines authentic folk sound with modern energy of arrangement. It is music that can move, captivate you to sing together and remind you how beautiful the holidays sound, narrated in the language of highlander tradition.
