The “silent hour” provides a concentrated, stress-reduced art experience at Hamburger Bahnhof. Once a month, a selected exhibition can be experienced for one hour between 16:00 and 17:00 at deliberately quiet times with a limited number of visitors and without larger groups. The offer is aimed at people with disabilities or neurodivergent people as well as all visitors with sensory needs who prefer a quieter visit to the museum — as well as their families, friends and accompanying persons.

About the event

The “silent hour” provides a concentrated, stress-reduced art experience at Hamburger Bahnhof. Once a month, a selected exhibition can be experienced for one hour between 16:00 and 17:00 at deliberately quiet times with a limited number of visitors and without larger groups. Hamburger Bahnhof employees are aware of this special access time and take this into account when looking after visitors and when handling the works of art.

Hearing protection is available as a support offer on the day of the event.
