In this open workshop, you can drop by with textiles and old clothes to repair, rework, or create something new. Be inspired by the exhibitions, topics and exhibits in the house — and talk to each other as you sew, patch and design together. Whether alone, with your best friend, family or shared apartment: At a sustainable sewing meeting in the workrooms, you can get creative with a needle, thread and sewing machine and support each other. An intermediary helps to develop project and design ideas and, if necessary, also supports the operation of the sewing machines.
Notes:
As open offers, our drop-ins invite children, young people and adults to create creatively together. Children and adolescents under 12 years of age can only participate when accompanied by adults. Children under 14 years of age usually need assistance from their accompanying adults. It's best to think of something you want to do together as a family! If you have no experience with a sewing machine yet, please also plan a little more time to get to know the machine during your first visit, as there is only one agent on site.
