Stop Making Sense Live

Slippery People recreate ‘Stop Making Sense’ live at KOKO

On 19th October 1984 Talking Heads and Jonathan Demme released the greatest concert movie of all time.

On Friday, 2nd April 2027, Slippery People will recreate ‘Stop Making Sense’ live at KOKO, London, following sold-out shows across the UK.

The band of 10 members will play all of the Talking Heads songs featured in the film. From ‘Psycho Killer’ to ‘Burning Down The House’ to ‘Once In A Lifetime’ and everything in between.

They have a tape they’d like to play for you. And everyone is getting involved.

“One of the best things I’ve seen in years, just brilliant, incredible.” – Marc Riley, BBC Radio 6

‘It embodies that same spirit of the original, that same joyous sense brought back to life. Stop Making Sense Live is a loving revival that proves Talking Heads still hit just as hard today.’ – Louder Than War
