The main thing is ROUND: It's STOPPOK's birthday and is celebrating on the country's stages

Travel educates. This “round trip” even more so. STOPPOK, our country's ingenious seismograph, has a milestone birthday in 2026, turning 70. That's too good not to be celebrated. On a “round trip” through the Republic, on the country's live stages. StopPok's natural biotope and emotional area since time immemorial.

So into the cheering tours with rough edges, with heart and mind, with a new album and old friends. The lyric singing guitar icon is obviously in a great birthday mood.

For 50 years, STOPPOK has been a model for an entire guild, as a unique entertainer from the fresh produce department of vital songwriting, as an independent spirit on “solid ground” who decided early on between “money or life”, as an outstanding lyricist full of wordplay, wisdom and trenchant poetry. The weather prophet of the change in values shines as a unique piece. There can be no question of diminishing strength and idea. An indication: The last two albums, “Jubel” and “Teufelsküche”, ended up in the top five in the media control charts.

STOPPOK is a singer and musician, highly appreciated by renowned colleagues, who combines loose mouth with stupendous craftsmanship (he masterfully masters his stringed instruments with a highly personal touch). Fed with folk, blues and rock'n'roll, the StopPok sound develops energy and self-will. This idea of groovy emotional outbursts is supported by his well-rehearsed band: Reggie Worthy on bass, Leo Lazar on drums and Sebel on keys and guitar are therefore accompanying passengers on the “round trip” (October 21, 2026 to November 15). Suitable for a new song from the album released for the tour: “The longer we go together, the better we will understand ourselves”.

STOPPOK stays tuned, insistent, cheerful. Surprise us with special live evenings where spontaneity, ridicule and soul massage triumph. There is nothing with seventy. How lucky!
