Abdominal pain before a test, “nausea” before a performance, a tight throat, palpitations, problems with appetite or sleep - these are some of the body's many reactions to situations in which we are not comfortable, to stressful situations or those that “overwhelm” us.
Emotions and the body are one system that constantly talks to each other. During the workshop, you will learn in a simple way the idea of the brain-gut axis, that is, the “second brain” hidden in the belly that reacts to what we feel.
You will learn why your stomach hurts before difficult situations, why stress can “take away your appetite” or make you nauseous, and that it is not your “weakness” - just a natural reaction of the body.
During the course:
you will learn to recognize early signals of tension in the body,
you will name your emotions,
you will apply simple techniques for dealing with tension,
you will come up with a specific, simple “set of tools” for everyday use — at school, before a test, at home, in difficult situations with colleagues.
