Another of the concerts within the Strings Festival is a meeting with the most outstanding works of classicism and romanticism. The programme takes listeners through the painterly landscapes of Czech Romanticism, Mozart's graceful violin concerto and one of Schubert's most moving symphonic works. The soloist of the concert will be Robert Kwiatkowski — a respected violinist, concertmaster and chamber musician, whose interpretations are distinguished by noble sound, musical sensitivity and excellent technique. In its performance we will hear the Violin Concerto in A major KV 219, the last and most mature of Mozart's violin concertos. The piece impresses with its elegance, lightness and surprising contrasts, especially in the spectacular finale, referring to Turkish music. The second work with the soloist will be the lyrical Adagio in E major KV 261 — a miniature full of subtlety in which Mozart shows the extraordinary singing of the violin. The concert will open the Vltava by Bedřich Smetana — the most famous symphonic poem of the century

The concert will open the Vltava by Bedřich Smetana — the most famous symphonic poem from the My Homeland series. With extraordinary suggestiveness, the composer recreated with music the course of the largest Czech river — from its sources, through forest depressions, rural games, night landscapes and monumental flow through Prague. It is one of the most outstanding works of program music of the 19th century. The second part of the evening will be completed by Franz Schubert's Seventh Symphony in B minor (“Unfinished”). Although the composer left only two completed parts, the piece is considered one of the greatest achievements of romantic music. Full of lyricism, dramatic tension and extraordinary emotional depth, the symphony fascinates with its mystery and unique atmosphere.
The concert will be conducted by Sergey Simakov.

The soloist of the evening will be Robert Bachara, accompanied by the FZ String Orchestra. One of the most famous works of Baroque music — “Four Seasons” Op. 8 by Antonio Vivaldi — will sound, showing the beauty of nature and the variability of the seasons. The concert will be moderated by Agnieszka Trzeciakiewicz, journalist of Polish Radio and president of the Gabriela Kownacki Oncology Foundation, who will give a lecture “Onkostory”, using fragments of the author's unconventional conversations with patients, doctors, rehabilitators and psychologists facing oncological disease. The next installment of Strings Festival Zielona Góra will be the concert “Vivaldi vs Piazzolla”, showing a fascinating dialogue between Baroque music and contemporary tango. Robert Bachara and Tassilo Probst will perform at the concert on 16 October, accompanied by the FZ String Orchestra under the baton of Jakub Grzybowski. The concert will begin with the premiere of Ignacy Zalewski's work, and the dialogue will be accompanied by the famous series “Four Seasons” (“Le quattro stagioni”) by Antonio Vivaldi and “Seasons” (“Estaciones Porteñas”) by Astor Piazzolla. The concert will combine two musical images of the seasons, presenting a contrast between baroque elegance and the passionate world of Argentine tango. On October 23, in the concert entitled “Echo of memories”, the soloist will be the outstanding violinist Robert Kwiatkowski, who together with the FZ Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Sergey Simakov will perform the Violin Concerto in A major KV 219 Wolfgang The Ganges of Amadeus Mozart.
