Planed stakes — pieces from Lubart | workshops with Staszek and Rafał Sadowniki | Layers

During the class we will focus on the game that was once popular in the vicinity of Lubartów. This is an opportunity to learn the rules of the old game, try your hand at Lubart pieces and spend time together with fun that has its own history.

The pieces, which we now call Lubartowski, are an arcade game played by children in the 19th and 20th centuries. The pieces of that time did not resemble the sticks known to us today, but had their own characteristic appearance and principles. The shape of these planed pegs resembled household tools, ornate porch columns or plates used by the hosts to mark their sheep. If you want to see (and try!) We invite you to participate in the game of “Lubart” pieces.

The workshop will be led by Stanisław Sadownik together with his father, Rafał Sadownik.
