Beware | Splat! FilmFest

A team of doctors sets off into the Amazon jungle with a humanitarian mission. However, their presence awakens an ancient predator that does not intend to give up its territory. The heroes quickly become convinced that in the wild outback, man is not always at the top of the food chain. “Beware Boiúna” is a full-blooded creature feature combining survival thriller, horror and action cinema. Mike P. Nelson's film draws on the classic tradition of monster cinema, setting it in the exotic setting of the Amazon jungle. Nature becomes one of the protagonists here, and at the same time a deadly trap. The eponymous Boiúna, rooted in South American mythology, proves to be an opponent almost impossible to predict and defeat.
