Sunnan serves al dente spaghetti soul in Lille VEGA

After a critically acclaimed summer tour, Sunnan are packing their bags once again, taking their distinctive blend of soul, multi-voiced singing and cinematic sound universes on an extensive Scandinavian tour - and Little VEGA has been honored to be one of the stops.

With them in their luggage, the band has their upcoming record, Spaghetti Soul, due out on October 9.

The members have played with a wide variety of artists over the years, but it wasn't until 2020, when the five musicians gathered freely in a scenic barn in Sunnanhed in Dalarna, that they discovered that they had something special together.

It's cinematic. It's spaghetti soul. Here, classic film aesthetics meet Morricone-inspired soundscapes — the music has a distinct momentum and a strong sense of adventure that can take the listener anywhere.

The band is inspired by experiences from both the screen and reality, drawing on everything from memories of their first meeting in the Swedish barn to films such as Wim Wenders Paris, Texas. Despite the fact that Sunnan has only one album behind them, they have already earned three Grammy nominations, had several hits on P3 and played to sold-out sales.

We therefore welcome an evening with Moby and David Lynch's unknown love child. An evening where you can let yourself disappear into musical landscapes you didn't know existed — but that you don't want to leave again.
