Parties, friends, great freedom — a typical teenager's summer vacation. But not for the idiosyncratic Ivy (Bella Ramsey), who prefers to retreat after surviving cancer. For this reason, her overprotective parents sign the 17-year-old up for a four-week stay at the Children Run Free Camp for young people with cancer. Convinced that she is facing the worst time of her life, Ivy moves into her accommodation in the “chemo camp” and unexpectedly finds like-minded people in a group of outsiders who quickly become a circle of friends. Together, they celebrate life and a summer they'll never forget.
