Sunset Images

Sunset Images is an experimental project from Mexico City, centered around the musician Samuel Osorio, who is responsible for both composition and overall artistic direction. The group moves in a field of tension between shoegaze, krautrock and noise rock, where layers of feedback, fuzz and repetitive rhythms merge into a massive and sensuous soundscape.

Since its inception, Sunset Images has built a reputation for intense live performances and has shared stage with international names within the experimental rock scene. Their previous releases have themed violence, racism and misogyny, as well as more personal topics such as loneliness, anger and powerlessness, giving the music a distinct political and emotional weight.
