Super8 - first year premiere - year 13

SUPER8 invites you to the premiere of Year 13's four first-year films at Empire. The films are created under the common theme “At the End of the World”.

The screening is at 7 p.m., and it lasts about 1.5 hours.

After the last viewing, the evening continues with an after-party at Funke. Everyone is welcome to come and celebrate the premiere with us.

Below you can read a little about the four films:

“On fire”: Isa is by no means a scout. Still, she has ended up at the junior girls' camp with her boyfriend Oskar, who is a scout leader. But when she discovers how one of the girls is as obsessed with Oskar, Isa throws herself into a power struggle with the girl.

“If We Grow”: In a dystopian world, the prepubescent Jonas lives among young grave robbers, but when he falls in love with Ines, his bodily insecurities become a threat to both love and community.

“HOT STAR”: Kalle and Kevin drift through the summer in a West Jutland village, setting fire to anything they can get near. But as Kalle grows wilder and more boundless, Kevin can no longer keep up and begins to fear that he is about to lose his friend.

“Father Earth”: Timm, living in isolation on an abandoned farm with his father, has to go out hunting for food. But in the forest awaits a different prey than the one he has been sent for.
