Superfan Superfan is the musical project of Brooklyn-based multi-instrumentalist and producer Kali Priya Flanagan. Originally intended as a solo project, today it is mainly the ambitious string arrangements created in collaboration with cellist Omeed Almassi that shape Superfan's raw and magnetic pop sound world. With the recent signing of contracts with the London-based label AD93 (including Joanne Robertson, YHWH Nailgun and Dagmar Zuniga), the three current singles “Miss W Jones”, “Apeiron (Fantasy Football)” and “Picture Of Return” mark the birth of “Acousticello”. With newfound confidence and a clear artistic vision, Kali exchanges direct narrative styles for fragmentary, impressionist poetry and channels ballads characterized by heartbreak through veiled imagery and literary finesse — an expression of an increased trust in one's own words and voice.

His musical references include albums such as 1996 by Ryuichi Sakamoto, Parasol by The Sea and Cake, The Greatest by Cat Power, Trust by Low and Hvarf/Heim by Sigur Rós, as well as the singing styles of Elizabeth Fraser, Beth Gibbons, Rufus Wainwright and Harriet Wheeler from The Sundays. His characteristic guitar sound, his haunting voice and his sense for effective live arrangements led to songwriting and production work, cover versions and guest appearances with artists such as Operelly, Jordan Patterson and Quiet Light.

At the personal invitation of Julian Casablancas, Superfan has already opened a The Strokes concert at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre. In addition, the project played together with Quiet Light, Knifeplay, Kath Bloom, Horsegirl, Userband, Samba Jean-Baptiste, Zoh Amba, ParKing, Brittle Brian (of @), Tiberius B, Autobahn, Untitled (Halo), Voyeur, Birdfeeder, Racing Mount Pleasant and numerous other influential names on the independent music scene.

Coals Coals, aka Kacha and Lucassi, are a duo that emerged from home recordings on YouTube and quickly became an internationally known act. Her music ranges between dream pop, ambient, R&B, trap and electronic music. They describe their own sound as “cold pop”: cool, emotional and eclectic.

From their debut Tamagotchi (2017) to the experimental Klan (2019) and the hypnotic docusoap (2020) to the latest album Sanatorium (2024), Coals have continuously worked on their own sound world, characterized by strong melodies, suspense and nostalgia. Her work also extends to the visual level: With their own videos and an unmistakable aesthetic, they combine danceable energy with fragility in their live shows.
