Svend Brinkmann

Svend Brinkmann is coming to Bremen Theatre!

Svend Brinkmann has long been concerned with what makes people human. What drives us? What do we believe? Why is happiness so hard to capture? Now he takes you on a brave hunt for the meaning of life, asking the question that might give even the most intrepid philosopher goosebumps - what on earth are we here for?

We humans are a complex and wondrous size. And our everyday lives are filled with well-intentioned endeavors for the good, happy and meaningful life. We crave recognition, go on cures and make careers.

But what is the point of it all really? What happens to people who lose their meaning?

Psychologist and professor Svend Brinkmann asks himself and the audience about this in his new lecture, filled with the best points from his personal and professional search for answers. Should our pursuit of meaningful life take place in the family? At work? Through faith? Or should we put more effort into finding happiness inside ourselves?

Get ready for a different, thoughtful and Svend Brinkmann perspective on everything that makes us human. And who knows, maybe you'll finally get the answer to why we're here — and whether it's even something we should be pondering!
